We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). This website uses no cookies, no analytics or tracking services and no contact form. The fonts are stored on our own server, so visiting the website does not create a connection to Google or any other third party.
Hosting and server log files
The website is maintained by ricooess.ch and hosted on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH in a data centre in Nuremberg, Germany. According to the Swiss Federal Council, Germany provides an adequate level of data protection.
With every visit, the server automatically stores the following information in log files:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- requested address (URL) and status code
- previously visited page (referrer), if sent by the browser
- browser and operating system (user agent)
This data is used solely to operate the website securely and reliably, to diagnose errors and to fend off attacks. It is not combined with other data and is deleted automatically after 14 days.
Contact by phone, email or WhatsApp
When you call or write to us, we process your details (for example your name, phone number, email address and your enquiry) in order to answer your request and carry out the work.
The WhatsApp link leads to WhatsApp, a service of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. A connection is only made once you click the link. Communication via WhatsApp is subject to WhatsApp’s privacy policy, and data may be transferred to the USA and other countries without an adequate level of data protection. If you prefer to avoid this, please contact us by phone or email.
This website links to Instagram, a service of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. No Instagram content is embedded. You are only taken to Instagram when you click the link. Meta’s privacy policy applies there, and data may be transferred to the USA.
Disclosure and retention
We do not sell personal data and only pass it on where this is necessary to handle your request, for example to specialist contractors or insurers involved, with your consent, or where we are legally obliged to do so. We keep personal data for as long as the purpose requires or statutory retention periods demand.
Your rights
Under the FADP you have the right to information about your personal data, to have it corrected, deleted or handed over, and to object to its processing. To exercise these rights, contact info@prowi.ch. You may also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
